We are born to Gods wealth

We Are Born To Wealth
by David Johnson

How many sunsets have you seen
Can you remember even ten?
Then bring back your most beautiful
And try to tell me where, and when . . .

And most of all just tell me why
We seem to miss God’s wonders
The spring and summer, winter, fall
How could we fail to see them all

Each day we witness miracles
That pass before unseeing eyes
The rain that falls, the stars that shine
This wondrous planet – yours and mine

We witness but we rarely see
In our myopic daze
The wonders that surround us here
And bless us in so many ways

With luck you’ll see one hundred springs
And share their quiet glory
Please keep them with your precious things
As part of your life’s story
