The Dangers of Caution

The Dangers of Caution

BY DAVID JOHNSON

Caution lurks to pluck us from our doom

While false bravado works the room

Vigilance yawns and takes a nap

On Apathy’s most spacious lap

We view the risks we will not take

As leaps of faith we dare not make

And Courage slinks away to die

Caution is for those afraid to regret.
